At the Pompano Beach Flying Club we’re a community of aviators who share a passion for flying and a commitment to keeping general aviation strong.

Our members include everyone from seasoned airline captains to newly licensed private pilots building their first few hours. What unites us is a shared love of flying, a dedication to safety, and an appreciation for being part of something larger than ourselves.

We seek prospective members who will add value to our club, who enjoy getting involved, contributing ideas, helping out at events, and taking an active role in the life of our aviation community. Members who participate and connect with others make the club stronger and more rewarding for everyone.

If you’re simply looking for an aircraft rental program, there are plenty of other options that will be a better fit for you. 

But if you want to play an active part in a friendly, engaged, and collaborative community of pilots who look out for each other and take pride in our aircraft, with an ownership-like experience, you’ll feel right at home here.

Whether your goal is to earn an instrument rating, pursue your commercial certificate, or just enjoy the freedom of flying, PBFC can connect you with experienced flight instructors and well-maintained VFR and IFR certified aircraft to help you grow and fly with confidence.

The Pompano Beach Flying Club is not a commercial operation and we are not a Flight School.  Only bona-fide members of the club are permitted to fly our airplanes. 

The instructors who teach our members are independent contractors.
