Pompano Beach Flying Club is a non-profit organization based in South Florida at Pompano Beach Airport (KPMP).
Counting on 300 days a year of good weather, three runways, a towered airport, low traffic density, all at a short one hour flight from the Bahamas.
Starting in 2019, the club also allows members to use the club aircrafts for training to earn your wings. Private, instrument, commercial all the way through CFI certification, our club will be able to meet your needs.

Since 1970, the Pompano Beach Flying Club (previously the Pompano Senior Squadron Flying Club) has been giving pilots from all over the south Florida area the kind of flying experience they want, and at a price that they can afford. Our mission is to provide members with well-maintained, well-equipped airplanes at the lowest possible cost. But beyond that, club membership is a chance to meet fellow pilots in a relaxed way, to make new friends and to profit from the flying knowledge that they are happy to share with you. The Pompano Beach Flying Club is a non-profit organization and our members are the shareholders.

THE ATMOSPHERE
For us, aviation is more than renting a plane. Whether you’re considering your first lesson, or you’re a lifelong pilot, aviation is best when it’s shared with others! Our membership includes university students, professionals, hobbyists and people who just love flight.
THE INSTRUCTION
The instructors who teach with us are independent contractors, with many interesting backgrounds. You may see them around the hangars, and you’ll learn something new with every conversation.
THE INSURANCE
Unlike many rental situations, as a member of the club, you are a named-insured on the club’s insurance policy. Members receive protections unavailable to most renters, including better liability coverage and protection from subrogation.
